      Itinerary

      Day 1: Journey down South

      Scenic drive from Perth through the charming seaside towns of Mandurah, where we’ll take a coffee break at a café by the foreshore.A quick stop in Bunbury. The museum is a labour of love which has a collection of antique, heritage and other collectibles from Australia and around the world. Stop into Bussleton to have some lunch.

      Scenic Bussleton Coastal Walk. Leisurely walk along the famous Bussleton Jetty, the longest timber pile jetty in the southern hemisphere stretching 1.8km out into picturesque Geographe Bay.

      Margaret River Town Centre. Some free time in town to stroll along the main street and maybe pick-up a special memento or gift to take home.

      See mobs of Western Grey Kangaroos in their natural environment, and meet Neil’s friendly horses. Before settling into your accomodation we take a drive to the coast for spectacular views of world class surf breaks.

      Wind Down Period
      Your night will be spent in comfort at the four-star Margarets Beach Resort(by the coast)or stay at Margarets Forest (in the town centre). Evening meal at own expense

      Day 2: Food and Wine

      The good people at Yahava are passionate about coffee, and take us through a tasting of their range. They travel worldwide looking for the best coffee beans which are roasted in house.
      We then visit a winery, usually Redgate but sometimes Xanadu or Stella Bella, sampling some incredible wines from respected and award-winning wineries Olive Oil Tasting at Olio Bello. Experience first hand the subtle flavours of olive oils including unique citrus pressed oils and sensational infused oils of roasted garlic & chilli and parmesan. Cowaramup Brewery or Black Brewing Co.
      Time to stop for a relaxing lunch and cleansing ale a local brewery. Not sure which beer to order? They’re all fantastic so grab a tasting paddle or share one with a friend to savour the range.

      The Margaret River Dairy Company is an icon of the community, proudly crafting gourmet cheese and yoghurts for all to enjoy.

      Wine Tasting with private Winery Access
      We typically visit two cellar doors in the afternoon. A few of our favourites include Fermoy Estate, Brookwood Estate, Vasse Felix, Amelia Park, Fraser Gallop, Willespie & Knotting Hill.

      Day 3: Nature

      Today starts with casual beachside dining and friendly Margaret River hospitality is what it’s all about. A range of simple yet creative beachside meals.

      Then we take a scenic walk at Redgate Beach and Mammoth Cave.
      We pass through Augusta with stunning views of the Blackwood River before arriving at the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia, Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, where we’ll take a guided tour and spot the point where the Southern and Indian oceans meet. Watch out for whales – southern right, humpback and blue whales can often be seen from the towers!

      Lunch is at Deckchair Cafe is situated on the main street of the picturesque coastal town of Augusta, sit back and relax with a smooth cup of locally roasted Yahava Coffee and enjoy the glimpses of the Blackwood River. After lunch we depart for your transfer back to Perth.
