      Itinerary

Cape Tribulation, Daintree Rainforest and Wildlife Tour

Travel to this Wet Tropics World Heritage area in small, personalised groups, with guided walks and guaranteed wildlife spotting. Our journey begins via the magnificent Captain Cook Highway to Port Douglas, one of Australia’s most scenic coastal drives. The Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas gives you the opportunity to explore Australia’s leading environmental wildlife experience on a Guided Tour through the rainforest, the wetlands, and the grasslands. Wander along elevated boardwalks and observe up close a huge range of flora and fauna as birds fly and roam freely. See rare animals such as the endangered Southern Cassowary and the Lumholtz’s Tree Kangaroo. Have your photo taken holding a koala, snake, or small crocodile (extra cost). We then embark on a Daintree River Cruise, and spot crocodiles, tree snakes, water birds and other wildlife as your guide takes you through the mangroves along this crocodile infested river. Stop at the magnificent Alexandra Lookout with its views of the Daintree River and Coral Sea before having a picnic lunch. Go for a guided rainforest walk with great photo opportunities at Dubuji Boardwalk, and visit Myall Beach. Enjoy afternoon tea at a picturesque setting before departing Cape Tribulation.
