Red Centre Tours

Tour the Red Centre on our Red Centre Tours.

Join us for a Red Centre tour to explore Australia’s cultural centre. The Red Centre of Australia is the central region where you can visit Uluru, Kings Canyon and Kata Tjuta experiencing the Aboriginal culture and natural wonders of the world.

The “Red Centre” name is due to the red earth of the desert landscape in this area of Australia. Geographically, the area is in the approximate centre of Australia in the Northern Territory. The true Australian outback!

Our Red Centre tours either start from Alice Springs or Ayres Rock. check flights into both and check out our tours into both airports.

Most of our Uluru tours finish in Alice Springs. Other longer tours we have will head down to Adelaide and Melbourne or north through to Darwin. So consider a longer package tour to see more of Australia’s outback.

We have Northern Territory adventure tours which are the best way to see the region for those on a budget or who want a value-for-money trip. We also have outback trips for those who require a little bit more style and comfort whilst exploring the Red Centre.

In the outback of the NT, our touring involves hiking, exploring and adventure. So be prepared for the outdoors and plenty of physical activity of a true outback ranger.

Seeing Rock art around Uluru is part of the culture and history of the Red Centre. You can view rock art in several rock shelters along the Mala Walk.

Our most popular Red Centre holiday would be a 3 day adventure. This is the perfect amount of time to explore the area and get up close to nature and culture. A typical 3 day tour will take in Uluru or Ayers Rock. This ancient sandstone monolith is located in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park which is World Heritage-listed.

Red Centre Tours for seniors

We believe you can travel Australia’s outback at any age which is why we have Uluru tours suitable for seniors and those over 50. We know you don’t want to be on a party bus to see one of Australia’s (and the world’s) great natural wonders. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, ancient landscapes, and fascinating culture plus hiking and camping. So many reasons to visit Australia’s red heart.

We have plenty of Red Centre tours for seniors. Our 4 Day Red Centre Tour is the perfect tour for all ages as we have the option to sleep in either swags or pop-up tents on tour.

If you are short on time and prefer some comfort camping our 3 day Uluru Tour is the adventure for you.

Red Centre Tours for families

Travelling as a family for a Red Centre Holiday means showing your children the wonders of Uluru. but they also like to adventure to Kata Tjuta on tour. These 36 wacky bumps sticking out of the ground are a really fun place for the kids to hike and explore. They tend to find this more interesting than a walk around the base of Uluru. Kinds Canyon is another highlight for children, they love climbing the steps up to the Rim Walk and marvel at the Garden of Eden.

Our 3 Day Uluru tour is suitable for children 8 years and over.

The 4 day Uluru tour from Alice Springs takes children from 8 years and over. So is ideal for families looking for a Red Centre holiday.

Treat your family to a memorable Australian Red Centre adventure.

There is a trip to the Red Centre to suit everyone, let your outback adventure begin.
