Tours to the Ningaloo Reef

Ningaloo Reef stretches 260 kilometers off the coast of Western Australia roughly between the towns of Coral Bay and Exmouth. It’s one of the longest stretches of the fringing reef on earth.

This fringing reef (close to shore type reef) is very accessible to a range of day trips available to take people out onto the Ocean. For those not taking a boat trip, you can snorkel off the beach at Turquoise Bay at Exmouth to experience the reef.

The World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef is popular not just for its natural beauty but the species of animals that visit the area to feed and spawn. The largest of these is the Whale Shark, a harmless plankton-eating giant shark. It’s a popular and regulated industry to snorkel alongside these sharks as they visit each year. On a day trip to snorkel with these gentle giant Whale Sharks, you normally spot Manta Rays and Dolphins and other fish that live in the Ningaloo Reef system.
