    Traveling in a group of like-minded people you will explore Sydney to Cairns led by our team of professional, experienced guides to see the ‘real’ Australia and meet some true Aussie locals.     You will travel on the bus from Sydney up to Spot X for an Aussie Surfing experience. Crank up the tunes and get to know your fellow travellers as you wind up the East Coast region.

    You will spend 3 days on Fraser Island seeing the famous Lake Mckenzie, adventuring around this large sand island full of rainforest and lakes.

    On the Whitsunday Island boat, we take you to see Whitehaven Beach, another bucket list place on the East Coast of Oz. Plus have a snorkel on the reef and try to look for Nemo. Ferry over to Great Keppel Island to explore the southern Great Barrier Reef.

    Then it’s off up to Magnetic Island to explore the National Park before finally the rainforest before finishing in tropical Cairns.

      Itinerary

      Day 1- Sydney Arrival and Harbor Cruise

      Welcome to Sydney! Today you’ll make your way to the Hostel to meet your tour guide at 3pm in the Foyer.

      Once you have checked out your room for the night, you’ll have plenty of time to meet and greet the rest of the Group prior to your Sydney Harbor Cruise.

      This hour long Cruise is a fantastic way to finish off your day by taking in the most famous Sydney sights. Head on back to the hotel, or head out to check out the night life.

      Day 2- Sydney and Bondi Beach

      Checking out early, putting your walking shoes on, Today is a day of learning more about this iconic Australian City. The Rocks, Darling Harbour, and  Macquarie’s Chair are some of the sights you’ll see.

       

      Your Local guide will then assist the group to get to your next walking destination, the Bronte to Bondi coastal walk. Breathe in the Coastal Air, and before you know it, you’ll be at the World Famous Bondi Beach. Have a dip, or just take in the sights before heading back to the Hostel.

       

      You will have time for a quick freshen up, prior to heading over to the bus station for your overnight Bus Trip to Arrawarra.

      Day 3- Spot X Surf camp

       

      The team at Spot X Surf will meet you bright and early  when you get off the Bus, where you’ll be taken to your Camp, located on a pristine beach in a National Park.

      This is where you will call home for the next 2 days, Being taught to surf by awesome staff, having amazing food, meeting local wildlife and having a comfortable nights sleep.

      Day 4 - Spot X Surf Camp

       

      Today, You will be able to place all you learnt yesterday into the water.  With not 1 but 2 separate opportunities to have a surf. After your last surf there will be some free time to arrange some forward formalities for the next days journey. Perhaps a trip to the local shops for some supplies.

      Relax and Enjoy swapping wipe out stories with your group over dinner at camp.

      Day 5- Byron Bay

      Waking up Early for the morning journey on the Bus to Byron Bay.

      Byron is typically known as the wellness capital of Australia, with spectacular beauty, inspiring arts and culture, and the best food producers in the country.

      Today your tour guide will take you on a walk checking out the local sights around Byron, like the infamous Byron Bay Lighthouse.

      Then Heading back to your Accommodation for a group dinner tonight.

      Day 6- Byron Bay

      Today is a free day for the group to explore Byron Bay, We can assist, or you can book your own kayaking tour, Horseback Beach Ride, or cross a sky Dive off your list!

      After Exploring Byron for the Day, head out for some of the iconic nightlife with your Group.

      Day 7 -Surfers Paradise  

      After a relaxed Breakfast organised by your tour guide, You’ll board the greyhound to head to the Gold Coasts central hub “Surfers Paradise”.

      Once your tour guide has assisted the check in, you will then head out as a group to familiarise yourself with this Fun Filled Beachside City

      Day 8 – Brisbane  

      You may need a slight sleep in, if you have had a good night out in this party town; before rising to say Goodbye to Surfers Paradise.

      Head over with the Group to board the Short Bus Trip to Brisbane, fondly known as Brissy- Queensland’s Capital city.

      Once your Tour Guide has you settled to the accommodation, You’ll have free time this afternoon to go for a wander and check out the local sights. Maybe go down to the promenade on the river, or go for a spot of shopping down the mall.

      Day 9 to 10 Noosa – 4WD Fraser (K’Gari) Island

      Get ready for your early private transfer to Noosa.

      Upon arrival, the group will be met by Drop Bear Adventures for a safety briefing (and little breakfast packs will be handed out due to the early start), before starting a private 3 day /2 night K’Gari Adventure Tour on Fraser Island.

       

      Travelling Tag Along style in 4WD’s departing Noosa, feel the thrill of adventure driving along the spectacular Teewah Beach from Noosa’s North Shore to Rainbow Beach (tide dependant).

      Your experienced tour guide will be driving one vehicle, and for those 21 & over with an international driver’s license, you have the opportunity to have a go driving one of the other 4WD’s as well.

      Day 11 - Day 3 of your 3 day Fraser (K’Gari) Island tour

      After a morning of more K’Gari adventures, the group will make its way over to the ferry.

      In the Afternoon you bid goodbye to your Magical Sand Island Holiday.

      You’ll be dropped back to the Mainland at Rainbow Beach. From here your Tour guide will check the group in to the hostel, where you can chill out by the Pool, or catch your breath by a relaxing stroll on the beach.

      Day 12- Double Island Point Kayaking Tour

      Wake up have breakfast, and prepare to jump into 4wd’s. This morning is a private 3 hour Dolphin View Sea Kayaking tour. On the way you will head along some pristine Coastal reserves to get to Double Bay.

      Experience a gentle paddle in the tropical waters of Honeymoon Bay and Double Island Point headland taking in the breath taking scenery of the area as well as seeing the Double Island Point Lighthouse from a unique view.

       

      Bottlenose dolphin pods are often seen here enjoying the Marine Park and feeding on large schools of fish and to see them living in their own habitat is a truly rewarding wildlife experience.

       

      This evening, the group will be catching an overnight bus to Airlie Beach.

      Day 13- Airlie Beach- Gateway To the Whitsundays  

      There is an Early Arrival into Airlie Beach, drop off your luggage to the accommodation with your group.

      You’ll then have a free day to wander around the quaint tropical town, grab some breakfast and explore the coastal township.

      Day 14 – Sailing Whitsundays – Day 1  

      After a quick brief with your tour guide, sort out your luggage and get ready for a few days of sailing Adventures.

      Meet your crew at the Coral Sea ready for depart, . Feeling energized? Help hoist the sails! Otherwise, sit back and relax as you float across the Whitsunday Passage to Whitsunday Island, finding anchorage at Tongue Bay.

       

      Take a guided bush walk to the Hill Inlet Lookout to get that awesome photo of the world-famous Whitehaven Beach. After taking in those postcard views get amongst it and submerge your toes in the unique silica sand. Climb the driftwood tree, say hello to the local marine critters or try beachcombing for shells.

       

      In the afternoon you’ll sail north to another island where you’ll anchor just before sunset. Enjoy a drink and pre-dinner snacks and be mesmerized by the golden hour as the sun sets over the Whitsundays. After dinner, grab a drink and get stuck into a conversation with new mates.

      Day 15 – Sailing Whitsundays Day 2

      Early rise for breakfast, then kit up with snorkeling gear, ready to jump in over the fringing coral reefs. Stunning tropical fish and other marine life, a turtle if you’re lucky, will welcome you into their home as they swim, dart and go about their life. Time for morning tea before heading to another location for a swim, snorkel or a beach stop.

       

      After lunch, it is time to set the sails once again and make way across the Whitsunday Passage. Arrive back into Airlie Beach at 4 pm.

       

      This evening your guide will cook the group dinner at the hostel, then you can head out after refreshing and check out the nightlife in Airlie.

      Day 16 – Airlie beach

      After a breakfast organised by your guide at the hostel, the group will have a free day to explore Airlie Beach. Chill by the pool or  take in some of the sights, like the Bicentennial Boardwalk, and the Airlie Beach Lagoon.

      Day 17- Townsville- Magnetic Island  

      Waking early, today you’ll board the bus continuing your northern Journey.

      Going through Tropical Coastal Towns like Bowen, you will arrive in your destination Townsville in the early Afternoon, It is a short walk to the ferry terminal where the group will catch the ferry across to Magnetic Island.

      Check in to your accommodation, and enjoy your free night to try a cocktail, or a sunset Beach walk.

      Day 18- Magnetic Island  

      Today you can check out the island at your Leisure,.

      With many walks, amazing Birdlife, Military History forts or if you want to explore the underwater world**, you will love this tropical island destination.

      Day 19- Townsville – Cairns

      Leaving the island in the Early afternoon, the group will be taking the Greyhound Bus from Townsville to head to the Gateway of the Tropical North- Cairns.

      Cairns has 2 of the world’s greatest treasures on its Doorstep, The Tropical Lush Rainforest, and the Great Barrier Reef. Both of which you will get a chance to see while you visit.

      When you step off the bus on your way to the Hostel, keep an eye out for the many restaurants, and bars you can then go visit later.

       

      Day 20- Rainforests, and Rivers  

      Today the group will head out for the day to visit The Daintree and Cape Tribulation.

      Just some of the many Highlights today, will be stepping inside a Tropical Rainforest, and seeing some amazing wildlife that call this place home. You then get the opportunity to see this all again via the river cruise.

      Winding your way down the coast via the Great Barrier Reef Coastal Drive, you will then return to Cairns late Afternoon.

      Day 21- Great Barrier Reef  

      Today’ s the day you head off into the marine wonderland of the outer Great Barrier Reef .

      Just a quick boat trip from Cairns,  you’ll spend five hours at the reef and visit two stunning dive sites. These are expertly chosen from exclusive moorings on the Norman, Saxon and Hastings reefs to bring you the best quality conditions and diverse marine life, from colourful corals to inquisitive Nemos, turtles, stingrays and giant Maori Wrasse.

      Day 22- Cairns  

      This is a free day to relax and wander around Cairns

      Your guide will be saying farewell to you and the group before you head off to explore.

      Some local sights you may want to take in are Cairns Lagoon, Kuranda Markets, or  for the very adventurous visit AJ Hacketts Bungy Centre.

      This evening, hit the beach bars on the esplanade to say goodbye
