      Itinerary

      Day 1- 3 Canguu

      DAY 1 – ARRIVE CANGGU

      You will start your trip in the coastal town of Canggu, famous for its surfing and world-class beaches – Echo Beach and Batu Balong. The streets are lined with some of the best restaurants in Bali, hip bars, and amazing local markets. Your hotel is located in the middle of town, within walking distance of the beach.

      Here, you can either try your hand at surfing or watch as everyone else does! In the evening, you will meet your group for the first time with a sunset rooftop drink before heading to the included welcome dinner together at the hotel

      DAY 2 – CANGGU SURF CAMP

      Surf’s up! Time to hit the waves. Our tours specialise in finding non-touristy areas for you to experience Bali. Today, you will have the opportunity to opt in to surf away from the crowd with one of our expert instructors. The rest of your day is free for you to chill on the beach, join a yoga class, or catch some more waves. During dinner, you will have the chance to check out your surf images and enjoy your final night in Canggu.

      DAY 3 – CANGGU TO NUSA PENIDA

      Today, you will head to Sanur, where you will take a short ferry to Nusa Penida. After checking into a boutique hotel, you will explore the best of Nusa Penida. Get your camera ready, as you will visit the famous photo spots at Kelingking Beach, Broken Beach, and Angel Billabong! The day will end with a beautiful sunset at Crystal Bay.

      Day 4- 6: Snorkelling, Gili T and Island Hopping

      DAY 4 – NUSA PENIDA SNORKELLING WITH MANTA RAYS

      Today, you will board a private boat to explore the breathtaking tiny bays of Nusa Penida. Your captain will take you to the best spots for snorkelling with the opportunity to see Manta Bay, exotic fish, turtles, and more.

      The highlight of the trip is visiting Manta Bay, which has one of the highest populations of Manta Rays in the world. Snorkelling with the Mantas is a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience that we are thrilled to share with you while ensuring it is done in an ethical way that does not disrupt the day-to-day lives of the Mantas.

      Afterwards, you will head over to the East side where you will visit Diamond Beach Viewpoint.

      DAY 5 – GILI T & SUNSET BIKE TOUR

      The next stop is Gili T! Famed for its snorkelling, abundance of sea turtles, and great nightlife. After a short ferry ride from Nusa Penida, you will check into your accommodation and have lunch before venturing out to explore the island. With no cars allowed on the island, you will get around by bicycle. Enjoy the pool at the hotel beach club that overlooks the ocean, and then in the evening, join us for a sunset beach clean with the Gili Eco Trust. The evening is yours, catch a movie on the beach or experience the nightlight which Gili T has to offer.

      DAY 6 – ISLAND HOPPING, SNORKELING WITH ICONIC UNDERWATER STATUES

      This morning, you will embark on our private island hopping trip to visit all the famous sights of Gili T. Our itinerary includes swimming with turtles, the famous underwater statues, and exploring coral reefs. The evening is free for you to explore, so make sure to check out some of the cool restaurants and hip reggae bars in the area.

      Day 7 - 9: Ubud and Mount Batur

      DAY 7 – TRAVEL TO UBUD

      Today, you will take the ferry back to Bali and continue our drive into the central foothills of the island to the magical town of Ubud. Known for its world-class yoga practices, beautiful rice terraces, and incredible food. You will have some free time to explore after checking in to your accommodation.

      DAY 8 – TEMPLES AND RICE TERRACES

      Experience the best of Ubud. Start your day by visiting the Monkey Forest Temple to meet some furry friends. Next, you will head to the Tegallalang Rice Terraces, a popular Instagram spot. After that, you will visit a sacred water temple to make an offering and take part in a water purification ceremony.

      The rest of the day is yours to explore further, whether it’s visiting coffee plantations to try the world’s most expensive coffee, trying out the famous Instagram swing, taking a yoga class or having a relaxing massage.

      DAY 9 – UBUD & SUNRISE HIKE OF MOUNT BATUR

      You will be waking up early in the morning to hike Mount Batur, which can only be described as otherworldly. You will take a quick hike to secure a great spot at the viewpoint, where you will witness the sunrise and enjoy a well-deserved cup of coffee. It will be an unforgettable experience, almost like being on Mars!

      After sunrise, you will head over to the crater’s edge, where you’ll have a 360-degree view of Batur Lake and the incredible surrounding landscapes and villages.

      Following the hike, you’ll have the rest of the day to relax back in Ubud.

      Day 10- 12: Pemuteran and coffee plantation

      DAY 10 – PEMUTERAN – WATERFALLS, LOCAL FAMILY VISIT AND COFFEE PLANTATION

       You will head north today with our final destination being the sleepy seaside village of Pemuteran. First, you will stop at the incredible and hidden Banyumala waterfalls, where you will meet a local family who will teach you all about how they have been making coffee the same way for almost 100 years.

      After lunch, you will head to Pemuteran, where you will hopefully catch one of those glorious Bali sunsets!

      DAY 11 – MENJANGAN ISLAND SNORKELING AND BIOROCK PROJECT

       Get ready for a big day of exploring the surrounding reefs of Menjangan Island. Menjangan Island is part of Bali West National Park which extends from the mainland. You will spend the day snorkelling around the reefs which are beautiful and home to an array of underwater life. If the tide allows it, you will have lunch on the island and may even spot some native deer who live on the island.

      During the trip we’ll also visit the amazing Biorock Project – the largest coral planting project in the world!

      DAY 12 – PEMUTERAN TO CANGGU

      You are scheduled to check out in the morning, which is considered a travel day. We will provide transportation for your return to Canggu, with an estimated arrival time of around 1 pm where you will say goodbye to your group and guide.

      Check into your Canggu accommodation this evening for the next 2 nights at your own arrangements.

      Day 13- 14: Canguu to Darwin

      DAY 13 – CANGGU

      Free day in Canggu at your own arrangements.

      DAY 14 – FLY DENPASAR TO DARWIN

      Check out of your Canggu accommodation this morning and start saying goodbye to Bali!

      Please make your own way to Denpasar airport for your Jetstar flight to Darwin.

      Arrive into Darwin Airport and make your own way to your city centre hostel in Darwin.

      Spend the tonight at your own arrangements.

      IMPORTANT: Your flight from Denpasar to Darwin and Darwin Airport to hostel transport is NOT included in your package. Please book these arrangements yourself at your own expense.

      Day 15- 16: Darwin

      DAY 15 – DARWIN

      The next two days are at your own arrangements.

      Why not visit some of the awesome attractions Darwin has to offer? Check out the RFDS Museum, Crocosaurus Cove, or if you’re lucky the famous Mindil Beach Markets (usually on Thursdays)!

      DAY 16 – DARWIN

      Day 17: Darwin to Kakadu

      DAY 17 – DARWIN TO KAKADU

      Rise early this morning as you are picked up from your hostel to join your 5 Day Kakadu, Katherine & Litchfield 4WD Camping Safari!

      Start your adventure by departing from Darwin and heading out to the Wetlands Region where the magnificent scenery of the top end puts on a show. Along the way, we have ample opportunity to spot a huge range of Top End birdlife, not to mention some fresh and salty apex predators… crocodiles

      We journey on to Kakadu National Park where our home for the next two nights in Jabiru awaits. The Bowali Visitor Centre offers a beautiful introduction to the Park’s landscape and wildlife and we take time to soak it in, before checking into our local accommodation.

      After some relaxation, we journey northeast to *Cahills Crossing on the border of Kakadu and Arnhem Land. We will visit one of the best-preserved collections of Aboriginal Rock Art in the world at Ubirr rock upon sunset. This incredibly significant site showcases many styles of rock art and allows us to climb up high for a sunset that will blow you away looking out over the Nadab Floodplain.

       

      After a big day, we head back to our cozy private camp and prepare dinner together, enjoying an evening with our fellow travellers.

       

      Day 18: Jim Jim Falls

      DAY 18 – JIM JIM FALLS & PLUNGE POOLS

      We rise and shine early on day 2 and make our way south into Kakadu National Park.

      Today we’ll spend the day soaking up the spectacular natural beauty of the area, hiking through lush monsoon rainforests, and swimming in pristine plunge pools and waterfalls surrounded by steep escarpments and rocky cliffs. We aim to visit one or more of the available waterfalls depending on the group’s physical ability to complete the hike(s). This can include any of Motor Car Falls, Jim Jim Falls, Twin Falls or Moline Rockhole. There are many factors affecting accessibility although your guide will ensure you get the best experience possible.

      Time permitting, we stop at Warradjan Cultural Centre and gallery where we explore the stories of the artifacts that the traditional owners wish to share with visitors. Feel free to discuss the evolving social, cultural and environmental changes to the area over time as we then make our way back to camp for a hearty dinner and a well-earned rest.

      Day 19: Kakadu to Katherine

      DAY 19 – KAKADU TO KATHERINE

      This morning we discover Burrungkuy (Nourlangie) rock art, Kunwarddewardde Lookout and have the potential to explore the surrounding areas of Nawurlandja Lookout and Anbangbang Billabong. Burrungkuy (Nourlangie) Rock features incredible Aboriginal rock art and Dreamtime stories of the Bininj people. Another 4WD track awaits us as we travel south and enjoy a picnic lunch at the plunge pool of Barramundi Gorge (Maguk) Waterfall, one of the most picturesque and pristine waterfalls in Kakadu.

      Please note at least a moderate to high level of fitness and agility is required here with flat pathways combined with rocky crossings leading you to the plunge pool through the monsoon forest.

      After our 2km walk, swim and lunch, we head south through Kakadu National Park towards our private safari campsite in Katherine where we will be able to relax under the stars and enjoy the evening’s hospitality around the campfire.

      Day 20: Katherine to Nitmiluk National Park

      DAY 20 – KATHERINE & NITMILUK NATIONAL PARK

      It’s an early start today to reach Nitmiluk National Park and board your 2 hour NitNit Katherine Gorge boat cruise – an absolute must-do in the Top End. This cruise guides you down the middle of 70m sheer rock walls with wildlife hiding around every corner. An area rich in creation stories you will marvel at your surroundings and the relaxed atmosphere of the cruise. If you are also interested in doing a scenic helicopter flight after the cruise there are a range of options available to take in the spectacular views of Nitmiluk and Katherine Gorge.

      It’s now time to continue our journey, making our way to the beautiful Edith Falls for further relaxation in picture-perfect Top End surroundings with a picnic lunch, a huge plunge pool beneath a cascading waterfall, and a welcome chance to cool off! After your day of culture, walks and swims we head back to our private campsite for a stunning sunset and evening stargazing.

      Day 21 and 22: Katherine to Darwin

      DAY 21 – KATHERINE TO DARWIN VIA LITCHFIELD NATIONAL PARK

      ​Our adventure is not yet complete as we now head into Litchfield National Park on our way back to Darwin for the end of our fifth day. Leaving Katherine we travel north towards the world-class Litchfield National Park, surrounded by thick pockets of tropical rainforest, offering a cool escape from the heat of the Top End.​View the monolithic Magnetic Termite Mounds and then have an opportunity to cool in Litchfield’s beautiful natural plunge pools like Buley Rockholes or Wangi Falls. Visit a thundering waterfall like Florence Falls or Tolmer Falls and marvel at the sheer beauty carved out among the rocky escarpment. Fully relaxed and rejuvenated after your fifth day of exploration and adventure, relax back in comfort as your guide delivers you back to Darwin for a well-earned rest.

      Check back in to your Darwin hostel this evening for the night at your own arrangements.

      DAY 22 – CHECK OUT

      Check out of your hostel this morning as your arrangements comes to an end.
