Cairns is the tropical gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, Cape Tribulation and the Daintree rainforest, Atherton Tablelands, ballooning and Tully River and rafting adventures.

Take a day trip to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef and find Nemo.

Here at Real Aussie Adventures, we have a variety of Great Barrier Reef tours from Cairns. We have boats that you can do introductory diving on, as long as you pass the health questions. We will guide any new diver through all the safety and teaching to have a wonderful underwater experience. Or for the more experienced diver who has been certified, we can take you to the outer reef where you can dive some of the more hidden reefs.

On day 2 in Cairns, you could head out to the jungle to visit the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation. If you have more time it’s advisable to stay overnight at one of the many beautiful properties right on the beach.

Another day in Cairns can be spent being adventurous, you could do a Skydive, Bungee Jump, or go White Water rafting on the Tully river rapids. Or if you have time you can do all three of these adrenalin activities! Cairns is currently the only place in Australia you can Bungee Jump and White Water raft on grade 3 & 4 rapids.

If you have another day to spare in the tropical paradise of Cairns we would recommend exploring the town itself. There is a lagoon to swim in on the Esplanade and a relaxing day there will be just what you need after all the adventure.
