      Route

      Day 1: Adelaide, South Australia

Make your own way to Adelaide for an early afternoon check-in to your centrally located hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Why not take in the Adelaide Central Market, one of the largest undercover markets in the southern hemisphere, soak up the sunshine at Glenelg Beach, or perhaps visit one of the many sensational museums in the city. When you’re feeling peckish, you’ll be spoiled for choice – Adelaide is home of some of the country’s premier restaurants.

      Overnight: Sage Hotel, Adelaide
      Meals included: None

Day 2: Adelaide - Kangaroo, Island

With an early start, you will be collected from the hotel for a scenic coach transfer to Cape Jervis taking in the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula with its vineyards, coastal views and rolling hills. On arrival, board the SeaLink ferry for the 45-minute crossing to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. Here you will board your luxury SeaLink coach and your local driver/guide will take you on a tour of South Australia’s premier nature-based tourism destination.

Visit Seal Bay Conservation Park where you will be taken on a guided beach walk with an experienced guide and be amongst a colony of rare Australian sea lions. Get up close and see these wild creatures frolic and laze about – a truly amazing and unforgettable experience. Enjoy a delicious 2-course lunch at an Aussie Pub before visiting the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park to feed some kangaroos and get up close to the Kangaroo Island Koalas while listening to the Keeper talk about the cuddly mammals. There is a photo opportunity to hold a Koala for an additional cost (additional cost).

Later, spend the afternoon in the Flinders Chase National Park, which was devastated in the worst fire to ever hit the island in January 2020. You’ll see that the regeneration of the native bush occurs so quickly after the event and there will be many opportunities to take photos. As you travel through the park, keep an eye out for echidnas, wallabies, reptiles, and koalas. See the rugged coastline from walks around Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Remarkable Rocks provide great photographic opportunities, and the Admirals Arch boardwalk takes you down a rugged cliff face to reveal the spectacular rock archway, a natural nursery and safe haven for playful Long-nosed Fur Seals. There is also a possibility that you will see more kangaroos and wallabies on your way to your overnight accommodation.

Great trip to Kangaroo Island, wonderful local guide with great knowledge of Island. Top notch accommodation and breakfasts. I was sick with flu and couldn't go on the Barossa Valley Tour so cant comment of this excursion - however the rest of this Tour certainly lived up to my expectations and even excelled them. Would reccommend this tour to all. Many thanks, S.Rowlands

This package was wonderful, I would definitely recommend it to others. Our accommodation was in South Terrace Adelaide opposite a lovely park. The hotel rooms were clean and spacious.. Our overnight stay on Kangaroo Island was great. Would have liked to stay another night. All buses for the various parts of the trip were on time if not early. Our drivers were extremely knowledgeable and friendly.--nothing was too much trouble for them.. Everything on the trip ran efficiently. If you get the chance to take this trip I'd take it.

A rather lovely holiday although felt a bit rushed. Kangaroo Island was sensational with lots to see and do. Our day in the Barossa Valley was great with a fantastic lunch at Peter Leamann Winery. Your drivers were very knowledgeable and congenial. All in all a great holiday.

It was a great trip.. KI was beautiful and we got to see so much of the island. Barossa Valley 4 wineries was the best day, mostly due to the fantastic bus driver that we had that day. He had so much knowledge and experience and told us lots of stories about the history of the area and we had lots of laughs and entertainment on his part.
