Twin Falls

Twin Falls Kakadu National Park

Twin Falls is located in Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory, Australia. It’s one of those places that is only seasonally accessible (June to November) when the four-wheel drive access track and a park ranger-operated boat shuttle service is in operation. The drive-in along a bumpy bush track and crossing streams and causeways is plenty of fun itself. Once you’ve walked along a rough track and crossed the creek on the boat, there’s a boardwalk into the narrow gorge to the base of the falls.

Twin Falls are aptly named as the water cascades down the cliff faces year around. The flow creates a distinctive look and feels that is a photographer’s delight. You can take it all in and relax on the large sandbanks at the bottom of the falls.
