Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory of Australia is a remote and relatively less-traveled part of the country. Unless you have a special permit you can only reach this area with an accredited tour company.

The expansive area covers about 34,000 square kilometers. The estimated population is around 16,000, It is estimated 12,000 are Yolngu, the traditional owners. The weather is similar to that of Kakadu National Park and most of the Top End with a monsoon season and a dry season.
