    Our day out on the 1 day Great Barrier Reef tour from Cairns, Queensland is our most popular Great Barrier Reef. We get booked up well in advance, so get in quick to secure your spot.

    We travel out to the Great Barrier Reef’s most unique snorkel and dive spots. You will then explore two reef locations, where you will swim amongst the underwater locals,  including inquisitive Nemos, Turtles, Stingrays, and Wally the friendly Maori Wrasse. Free guided snorkelling tours are also included in your trip if you wish to learn more about the marine life.

      Outer Reef Day Tour

      Snorkelling is the easiest way to discover the Great Barrier Reef, it is as simple as breathing. If you have never snorkelled before, don’t worry, a briefing is held on board, explaining how to put and use the snorkelling gear. ReefQuest is a brand new luxury vessel that was introduced to The Great Barrier Reef for the 2016 season and is fully equipped with modern state of the art facilities. Our passengers are provided with unrivalled comfort as we visit some of the best dive and snorkel locations on the Outer Great Barrier Reef at Norman, Saxon and Hastings Reefs. These reefs are approximately 70km offshore. These unique sites offer superb coral formations and an abundance of coral and marine life! Come on board as we visit two different reef locations, where passengers have the opportunity to swim amongst the underwater locals, including inquisitive Nemos, Turtles, Stingrays and Wally the friendly Maori Wrasse. ReefQuest allows over four hours to explore the Outer Great Barrier Reef, offering quality diving and snorkelling experiences, value for money, and most importantly incredible memories that will last a lifetime! 8:00 am: Check in directly on the vessel SeaQuest @ B Finger Cairns Marlin Marina 08:00 – Vessel will depart promptly at 08:30. 10.30 am: First dive at the first location of the day and time for snorkelling 12 pm: Lunch time 1 pm: Second dive at the second location and time for snorkelling 3 pm: 90 min trip back to Cairns 4.30 pm: Return back in Cairns

      • Certified divers please remember to bring your dive card. If you do not you may be required to sign a ‚Statutory Declaration‘ and dive with an Instructor on your first dive which will cost an extra $15.00
      • Compulsory local payments: Please note that all trips aboard our vessel are subject to TAXES & LEVIES $20 PER PERSON PER DAY
      • Child price 4-14 years. Minimum dive age is 12 years – must dive with a guardian.
