Perth to Kalbarri
Our first stop will be the impressive Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park. You will enjoy a fully guided tour through these amazing limestone formations and drop in at the Discovery Centre before having lunch by the sea. After a quick stop in the town of Geraldton it will be on to Big River Ranch for some true blue Aussie hospitality and our overnight stay. (L, D)
Kalbarri to Shark Bay
Today you visit the marvels of The Murchison Gorge, Natures Window and Z-Bend in Kalbarri National Park. Here you have the option to try abseiling (additional cost). Cool off with a swim in the Murchison River before it's back on the bus and travel north to Shell Beach and Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort for our accommodation. (BLD)
Monkey Mia to Coral Bay
This morning meet the famous Monkey Mia dolphins for some excellent photos. Then join an optional sea kayak (additional cost) or just chill out on the beach or at the resort. We visit the live rock formations Stromatolites before we settle into our accommodation in Coral Bay, located right on the famous Ningaloo Reef. (BLD)
Today enjoy free time to experience the many great tours and activities Coral Bay has to offer, with special discounts available as an Aussie Wanderer passenger. Go for a stroll on the beach and check out the shark nursery, swim with the manta rays (additional cost) or go for a snorkel on the Ningaloo Reef only metres from shore.
This evening we take the short drive up the peninsular to Exmouth and check in our accommodation. (B, D)
Today is yours to join any of the optional activities available including snorkeling with the friendly giants of the sea, the whale sharks (seasonal additional cost) or enjoying a fully guided tour of Cape Range National park, a spectacular place of rugged limestone ranges, breathtaking deep canyons and 50km of pristine beaches. Exmouth to Karijini National Park
Up early to travel east through station country and stop at Tom Price, the highest town in Western Australia. Here you can get some supplies heading to the amazing Karijini National Park. Days 7 and 8
Karijini National Park
The next two days give you plenty of time to explore Karijini National Park and to enjoy 2.5 billion years of evolution and 40,000 years of culture. Visit and hike many of the gorges, swim in amazing rock pools, stand under waterfalls and explore intriguing rock formations including Hancock Gorge, Weano Gorge and its adventurous Handrail Pool, Dales Gorge, Circular Pool, Fortescue Falls, Fern Pool and more. Late on day eight travel further north to Pardoo Roadhouse and check into your large comfortable tent (or swag if you choose) for a night of camping. (BLD)
Pardoo Road House to Broome
This morning sees us arrive at 80 Mile Beach for some awesome photos! When we finally arrive in Broome we take you for a tour around town and have a picnic lunch over looking the famous Cable Beach, before we check in at our accommodation. (B,L)
Days 10 and 11
The next two days enjoy free time and all that Broome has to offer. Go for a swim at the stunning Cable Beach, explore China Town and its pearling history, watch a movie at the worlds oldest open-air cinema or ride a camel on the beach at sunset (additional cost). For lunches and dinners check out the variety of eating venues or cook your own at the hostel. (B)
Days 12, 13 and 14
Broome to Perth via Karratha and Kalbarri
The three day express journey back to the state's capital Perth travels along the coastline with a night of camping in Karratha and your overnight stay at accommodation in Kalbarri township. Return to Perth in the afternoon of day 14 and bid farewell to our group. On the 3 day express return you purchase your own lunches and dinners, you will be provided breakfast. (B)
