Melbourne to Port Campbell
Leaving Melbourne we head south towards some of Australia’s most famous surf beaches enjoying the breathtaking coastal views. Along the way we have plenty of opportunities to see the native wildlife in its natural environment including koalas and a variety of birds. We enjoy a rainforest walk in the Otway Ranges and visit the iconic Cape Otway light station before staying overnight along the Great Ocean Road.
Tonight you will stay at Port Campbell Hostel in Port Campbell. The shared accommodation is dorm style with shared bathrooms and the double rooms upgrades are budget style with shared bathroom. (L, D)
Port Campbell to Grampians National Park
Rising early we travel to the Port Campbell National Park to experience the world famous limestone rock stacks, the 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge on the western end of the Great Ocean Road. From here we head to the Grampians National Park and discover the dramatic mountain views, magnificent rock caves, and stunning waterfalls.
You will stay overnight in the Grampians in a wonderful natural setting, at Assess Ears Wilderness Retreat. The shared accommodation is dorm style with shared bathrooms and the double rooms upgrades are cabins with ensuites. (BLD)
