Great Ocean Road
Take a trip on the Great Ocean Road, with iconic and magnificent stops such as Loch Ard Gorge, the 12 Apostles and Gibson Steps in Port Campbell. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the Great Otway National Park and rainforest, before working our way along this famous and spectacular coastline. Stopping in quaint seaside towns like Apollo Bay, then Kennett River to see koalas in the wild. Dinner will be in the surf capital of Australia Torquay, where we stay overnight. (L, D)
Phillip Island Penguin Parade
On day two we say goodbye to the Great Ocean Road beginning with a ferry trip across Port Phillip Bay. We then travel to Phillip Island stopping on route to a Animal Wildlife Park for some up-close views of our unique Australian Wildlife. Here we include an additional activity for Autopia passengers (normally valued at $20), enjoy the ‘Close Encounter with a Koala’ experience with take home souvenir photo at no extra fee. Once arriving on Phillip Island, we visit the Nobbies Centre to take in some rugged coastal scenery and wildlife spotting before arriving at the award-winning Phillip Island Penguin Parade. Time is available to enjoy the Phillip Island Nature Parks Visitor Information Centre and grab a bite to eat before watching the remarkable Penguin Parade waddle across the shores at sunset. (B)
