All about the 1 Day Adventure Sailing on Southern Cross
Explore the amazing Whitehaven Beach and go snorkelling to explore coral reefs and beautiful fish, plus go on a guided bushwalk on Whitsunday Island. You are welcome to help the crew sail the yachts or just relax.
Enjoy lunch onboard before returning to Abell Point at approximately 5.15pm.

Depart from Abell Point Marina at 8:00am
Sail across the Whitsunday Passage
Sail by Hook Island and through Hook Passage
Arrive at Tongue Bay, around 11:00am
Take a guided walk to the lookout over Whitehaven Beach
Follow the path along a board walk down to the Beach
Time to explore the beach and enjoy the pure white sands
In the afternoon, it is time to head back to the yacht for lunch
After lunch motor over to Dumbell Island, just a short trip away
Time for a snorkel and swim on the amazing coral reefs
Back on board, and its time to set sail and cross the passage
Head back to Airlie Beach. Arrive in the marina around 5:15pm
The Itinerary will vary, based on the weather and tides and professional judgement of the Captain. Sometimes, we do not make it to Hill Inlet, however we have terrific alternate weather options itineraries available.
