Get to know your fellow tour members as we arrive at the famous Barossa Valley for an afternoon of world class wine tasting. Home to over 150 wineries, the Barossa Valley has established itself as one of Australia’s top wine regions producing consistently outstanding vintages over the past 160 years. Day 2: Barossa Valley to the Flinders Ranges via Mt Remarkable National Park
Following an early breakfast we travel to Alligator Gorge, located in Mt Remarkable National Park for a guided 3km bushwalk. Walk off yesterday’s indulgence as we search for the elusive yellow-footed rock wallaby that is prevalent here amongst the stunning, rugged scenery before heading into the rural town of Wilmington for lunch.
We travel 40km north to the historic town of Quorn where we learn about the heritage of the Pitchi Ritchi Railway station, and the importance it played connecting the South to the North and the East to the West of Australia in the late 19th and throughout the 20th century. We continue our course further north into the heart of South Australia to arrive at Wilpena Pound Resort, a wonderfully unique location.
Tonight, we sleep in the middle of the Flinders Ranges wilderness on the outskirts of the pound as we experience safari tents underneath the vast Australian night sky. If the glamping tents are not available then we will stay in superior hotel rooms.
Accommodation: Wilpena Pound Resort

Day 3: Wilpena Pound
Enjoy a relaxing morning as we get the opportunity to spend a full day exploring and hiking the magnificent Wilpena Pound. There are walking trails and hikes to suit all fitness levels as well as fun, and interesting optional tours to indulge in.

Bask in the South Australian sunrise this morning as we depart early and hit the road for the secluded Clare Valley. We stretch our legs in the country town of Orroroo, before arriving at another great winery for another fantastic wine tasting and lunch set in the picturesque vineyard restaurant.
In the afternoon we continue to enjoy the beautiful wines of the region with the option of jumping on a bicycle or e-bike to ride across the wineries of the valley.
After another day of indulgence, we check in to the picturesque Clare Country Club for the evening to relax and make use of the facilities or have dinner in one of the fantastic local pubs and eateries across the region.

Day 5: Clare Valley to Kangaroo Island via the South Coast
Today after breakfast we depart the Clare Valley for the beaches of Glenelg where we have a relaxing stroll and an early lunch at your choice of one of the many fantastic eateries in town.
If warm, we then head to Christies Beach for a swim before continuing our journey to Cape Jervis in time for our ferry to Kangaroo Island. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the hour journey on board, arriving at Penneshaw in the evening. We transfer to our boutique accommodation on the eastern tip of Kangaroo Island just in time for sunset drinks with stunning views over the secluded Bay, before dinner.

Day 6: Kangaroo Island Nature & Wildlife
Following breakfast we head off for a full day of nature and wildlife, encountering seals along this incredible coastline. Our expert guides will give you their unique insight into how they hunt, surf, rest, interact with their pups and defend their territory, as we get up close and personal to these amazing animals.
Our journey continues to Flinders Chase National Park, devastated by the 2019/20 bushfires, the park is still recovering against all odds. Native wildlife are still regularly found naturally in the park. Spot kangaroos, goannas, koalas, eagles, and echidnas as we travel to the ‘Remarkable Rocks’, perched high on ancient platforms above the sea. This is a great opportunity to try your hand at photography and get some epic photos of you and your fellow tour mates.
We enjoy a picnic lunch before visiting Weirs Cove, Admirals Arch and Cape du Couedic Lighthouse before having a swim to cool off at the pristine Hanson Bay Beach, or one of the other beautiful beaches on the way back to our accommodation.
We return to our accommodation for a relaxing dinner as the sun goes down, before our guides take us on a special tour of the property to spot nocturnal wildlife, nearby Cape Willoughby Lighthouse.
Accommodation: Cape Willoughby boutique accommodation
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 7: Kangaroo Island to Adelaide
Enjoy a relaxing morning before departing our amazing accommodation after breakfast. Our plans for today will vary on our ferry departure time but first port of call is Emu Bay Beach, arguably Kangaroo Islands most popular, due to its location close to the island’s biggest settlement, Kingscote and its idyllic crystal-clear waters. We spend some time here admiring the incredible views before making our way to ‘Island Beehive’ for a guided tour to learn about Ligurian bees and how the centre became one of the first organic producers of honey in Australia.
We then swap world class honey for some gastronomic venues including the Kangaroo Island Brewery and either one of the distilleries or many wineries on the island.
We bid farewell to Kangaroo Island as we sail back to the mainland in the afternoon. Say goodbye to your guides and fellow tour mates and transfer to either Glenelg or Adelaide in the evening where your tour arrangements come to an end.
Meals Included: Breakfast (plus lunch at your own expense)
