1 Day Phillip Island Penguin Parade Tour Itinerary - 1 days

  1. Day 1 Phillip Island Penguin Parade
Heading out of Melbourne, we head to Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park to see a range of Australian native animals including Tasmanian Devils, Crocodiles, albino Kangaroos, Wallabies and native birds. Get up close with Koalas and hand feed kangaroos and Wallabies.

The eco certified sanctuary also has some of the lesser known endangered species of Australia including the Southern Bettong, Eastern Quolls and rare Fluffy Gliders. We visit historic Churchill Island and see sheep shearing in action and have some time to explore the historic buildings. We also take a stroll along the boardwalks at the Nobbies & Seal Rock Centre, before arriving at Summerland beach for the nightly penguin parade.

Phillip Island is known for its natural beauty, sandy beaches, rugged cliffs and unique wildlife experiences and on our Phillip Island Tour you will experience it all. Check out the giant surf at Woolamai Beach and take time to enjoy a tranquil coastal walk. Head to the new marine centre at the Nobbies and stroll the boardwalk to view the majestic rocky coast, home to a colony of fur seals.

After dinner (not included), it's time for the Penguin Parade. View the award winning visitor centre and as the sun fades, witness the world's littlest penguins emerge from the sea and waddle ashore. It's a truly magical and unforgettable experience.

Watch as hundreds of little penguins make their way across the beach and go home for the night. Tour conclusion depends on time of year and ranges from 10pm during the winter months to midnight during summer as the penguins arrive at sunset.
