Rainbow Beach to Fraser Island
It’s an early start to pack your bags, food and camping equipment into the 4-wheel drives. Then it’s off to the ferry for the 10 minute transfer to Fraser Island and the start of your camping adventure. After checking out the local highway known as 75 Mile Beach, other highlights today may include Central Station and Lake McKenzie. At the end of the day set up camp and cook a healthy and delicious dinner. (LD)
After breakfast at camp, today you may see Eli Creek, the Maheno ship wreck, the coloured sands at The Pinnacle, Indian Head and Champagne Pools. You are sure to find another beautiful camping location tonight. (BLD)
Fraser Island to Rainbow Beach
Highlights today may include Rainbow Gorge and a hike through rainforest to Lake Wabby. In the afternoon you’ll make your way back to the ferry and return to the mainland and Rainbow Beach. (BL)

Daily (except from 22 of December to 1st of January) at 7am from Frasers on Rainbow backpackers hostel, Rainbow Beach, Queensland.
All passengers MUST arrive by 2pm the day before departure for a compulsory safety briefing.
Important NotesThings you need to know about this tour
- Available only to persons 18 years or older.
- Open-dated tickets must book at least 7 days in advance and are not valid between 22 December and 1 Jan
- All travellers must leave a credit card or cash security bond.
- Sleeping bags ($10) and alcohol are at an additional cost and local payments
- An optional $10 insurance excess reducer is available.
