Cairns or Port Douglas to Cape Tribulation
Enjoy one of the most scenic coastal drives in Australia along the Captain Cook Highway to Port Douglas where we will pick up passengers who choose to start from here.
Visit the Wildlife Habitat where you will see the endangered Cassowary and rare Lumholtz’s Tree Kangaroo together with other wildlife. Have your photo taken holding a koala, snake or crocodile (additional cost). Snacks are available for purchase.
After the wildlife fix we will cross the Daintree River on a cable-driven ferry and drive through Daintree National Park.
Arrive at Cape Tribulation in time for lunch. Check into your accommodation for the night and enjoy the free afternoon relax and swim* at the stunning beach. Dinner and other food and beverages are at own expense.
Ocean Safaris reef trip and return journey to Cairns or Port Douglas.
Start the morning with an exhilarating fast ride of approximately 25 minutes to reach two fabulous snorkelling locations at Mackay and Undine Reefs where you will spend approximately two hours.
In the afternoon meet your guide for an interpretive walk along the Rainforest Boardwalk, keeping a watch out for wildlife.
Make your way back to Cairns via Alexandra Lookout where you can admire the views of the Daintree River and Coral Sea.
In the afternoon board a Daintree River cruise where you will look for crocodiles, birds and other wildlife.
Arrive Port Douglas accommodation at about 6.00pm and Cairns accommodation about 7.00pm. Meals today are at your own expense.
*Swimming at Cape Tribulation beach is subject to seasonal conditions.
